UBR was born out of the need of our Founder to find a viable recovery option for a loved one, a competitive sportswoman that had suffered a serious injury whilst competing.
After thorough research, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) was discovered. Unfortunately, there was a severe lack of HBOT specialised facilities in South Africa.
When a facility was eventually found, HBOT certainly worked!
It became clear very quickly that HBOT specialised centres, and the myriad of health benefits for a wide range of conditions, from sports injuries to beauty treatments and wound care, were critically required in South Africa- enter Ultimate Body Recovery!
